‘Michael Jordan of Cricket’ Joins National Cricket League Ownership Group

"Comparable to Pele in soccer or Babe Ruth in baseball," India's Sachin Tendulkar is known as the greatest cricket batsman of all time. Today, amidst its ongoing inaugural Sixty Strikes tournament at UT Dallas, the NCL announced he has joined its ownership group. The legend is slated to fly to Dallas to present the tournament trophy himself.

On the heels of Major League Cricket's inaugural season in Grand Prairie last summer, the Dallas-based National Cricket League has launched to bring its own fast-paced version of the sport to the U.S. Coming next May: a 9-day inaugural South Dallas tournament featuring play by the Dallas Wolves and 30-plus performances by Bollywood celebrities from around the world.
