Firehawk Aerospace Co-Founder and CEO Will Edwards says he aims to build "the next great American defense company. And we're doing this by building rocket motors." Using 3D-printed solid rocket fuel to provide a safer, more cost-effective approach to launching payloads, Firehawk is powering forward from its Addison facility, its Midland test site, and a new launch range where its systems will take flight.

U.S. Energy Development Corp. is expanding its footprint in the Permian basin, building on its existing investments of over $400 million in the region over the past year. According to CEO Jordan Jayson, many operators in the Permian region are turning to innovation and advanced tech to tap into the remaining potential of the area, improve efficiency and safety, and maintain high levels of output.

Energy Transfer LP, a Dallas-based midstream energy company, will acquire Lotus Midstream Operations LLC, based in Sugar Land, for $1.45 billion in a deal that includes $900 million in cash and approximately 44.5 million newly issued Energy Transfer common units. The acquisition will add Centurion Pipeline Company LLC, an integrated, crude midstream platform in the Permian Basin, to Energy Transfer's portfolio.
