Downtown Dallas Inc. has signed a lease as the first tenant in the 52-story building formerly known as First National Bank Tower. The revamped building is being called "the largest-ever adaptive, historical use development in Texas." Developers used new technologies to meet their aggressive deadline for completion this year.
The developer has several projects planned or underway in the downtown Dallas area, including the proposed Cedars mixed-used development SoGood @ Cedars.
DDI Foundation's financial commitment follows $100,000 committed by Dallas architecture and design firm Corgan toward the innovative park’s construction, which already is underway.
The thoroughfare transects the northern edge of downtown Dallas, and renovations and new construction are transforming its place as a hub for offices, retail, and residential.
