At the Global Mission Summit on Oct. 8–10, leaders and innovators are rethinking business—where purpose is infrastructure, profit fuels impact, and legacy means leaving more than returns behind. Behind it are investor Michael Moe and Dallas developer Mike Hoque, and their newly formed Global Mission Institute.
The new multi-age campus will unite three downtown schools—Montessori, CityLab, and IDEA—under one roof in the city center. It’s also the first DISD project of its kind led by an all–African American joint venture team.
First reported by D CEO, Mike Hoque and Mike Ablon have the iconic 72-story tower and four surrounding city blocks under contract, planning a $350 million redevelopment that includes a luxury hotel, street-level enhancements, and a potential new financial district in downtown Dallas.
