TPG Rise Climate Completes $4.75B Sale of Intersect to Google, Launches IPX Power

Intersect is a clean energy company based in San Francisco that develops large-scale solar and battery energy storage projects for AI data centers and renewable energy operations. With the deal, Fort Worth- and San Francisco-based TPG Rise Climate has become the majority backer for IPX Power, a spinoff of Intersect's grid-tied power business.
