LGMG North America Relocates to Dallas Suburb The Colony, ‘Relaunches’ With New President

Stung by high import tariffs on its core product—mobile elevated work platforms—the subsidiary of China's Lingong Machinery Group is relaunching in The Colony, bringing back a former CEO as president, and focusing its manufacturing in Mexico, where it will ensure all its lift machines are made in North America.

Vehicle Accessory Group is moving jobs from California and New York to a new corporate headquarters in Mesquite, where a new facility will create more than 600 manufacturing jobs. Texas Gov. Abbott presented the company with a proclamation last week, saying the move exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit and thriving business climate of Texas.

Fresh Meals Platform FreshRealm To Relocate HQ from California to Dallas Area

FreshRealm says its new HQ and facility in Lancaster will enable it to produce "superior short shelf-life meals at a scale and solidify its position in the high-growth fresh meals category." In the last year, FreshRealm has acquired the operational assets of two leading meal kit companies for around $74 million.

In a terse statement released Friday evening, Fisher Investments announced plans to move its corporate HQ from its 150-acre campus in Washington State to Texas. Along with its subsidiaries, Fisher manages over $197 billion in assets globally, and one of its five U.S. corporate offices is in Plano. According to Oregon Live, Fisher's announcement was made "in protest" of a state Supreme Court decision upholding Washington’s new capital gains tax.
