OpenAI CFO Sarah Friar, the former CEO of Nextdoor, was the inaugural guest at last week's launch of the Pegasus Park Speaker Series at the biotech hub in Dallas. The fireside chat before 200 "tenants and friends" of Pegasus Park featured interviewer Nicole Small, CEO of Lyda Hill Philanthropies and LH Capital, and was followed by a Ladies Who Launch event.

Dr. Laura Leathers has been named the next Eugene McDermott Head of School at the Hockaday School in Dallas, effective Jan. 1.
Leathers currently is interim head of school for the 109-year-old institution. Previously, Leathers served as Hockaday’s assistant head of school for academic affairs.
