After Opening U.S. HQ in Fort Worth, French Company to Install Thousands of Solar Streetlights in the City

Fonroche Lighting is partnering with the city of Fort Worth to supply over 3,400 solar-powered streetlights in neighborhoods all across town. The project "will dramatically reduce environmental impact and operating costs while delivering consistent lighting 365 nights per year, even during power outages," the company said.

Calling itself "a disruptor to the traditional streetlighting industry," Fonroche said its innovative solar-powered streetlights have been installed in more than 1,000 municipalities across 43 states. Its off-grid lights offer "significant cost savings, zero energy consumption, and drastically lower carbon emissions."
