$3M Gift Will Launch a New Career Center at UNT at Frisco

The $3 million gift from Satish and Yasmin Gupta will support student scholarships and create a new career center at UNT at Frisco. UNT President Neal Smatresk said the transformative gift "will serve as a catalyst in our ongoing mission to extend UNT at Frisco’s reach and impact."

Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week, classes opened today at the University of North Texas at Frisco's first permanent campus building, Frisco Landing. The $100 million, 135,000-square-foot building will be home to many of UNT at Frisco's 2,500 students. Its collaborative design includes 69 "huddle rooms," interactive classrooms, and more.
