Retail media and tech veteran Paul Dahill will spearhead efforts to expand and accelerate growth across different sectors for the Fort Worth-based software company, with an emphasis on retail and finance.
"Our aim is to build the largest, and more importantly, most effective advertising services group in the world and that will not happen organically," said Kyle Borgman, chairman and CEO of The Yadot Group. "We're in the acquisitions business, plain and simple."
Aiming for "a seismic impact" on the toy aisle, the Netherlands-based company—whose North American HQ is in Richardson— is leveraging its new worldwide license and distribution agreement with Funko Games. Throughout 2024, products will roll out in "action figure role play, construction, miniatures, impulse, interactive pets, small doll, licensed plush, and more," Goliath said.
FPT—which had a total revenue of $1.87 billion in 2022 and more than 60,000 global employees—said its new Frisco subsidiary has a mission to "drive the advancement of software-defined vehicles, shape the new mobility era, and deliver the highest standards of safety and superior experiences to customers."
