Dallas’ MW Logistics Partners with Lazer to Streamline Supply Chains with EV Fleets

Alpharetta, Georgia-based Lazer Logistics is a North American leader in EV spotters—eco-friendly semi-tractors that move large trailers around cargo yards, at warehouse facilities, and all over busy intermodal facilities. Working together, the two companies aim to streamline options "for every level of supply chains."

In December, the U.S. Postal Service announced plans to acquire at least 66,000 battery electric delivery vehicles between now and 2028. All those vehicles will have to be charged up, though—and now a company whose parent is headquartered in Dallas has been enlisted to help. Rexel Energy Solutions, a business unit of Dallas-based Rexel USA, has been awarded a three-year contract with the U.S. Postal Service for the supply of EV charging stations to be deployed at Postal Service facilities.

Brad Hunstable launched Linear Labs in 2014 after incubating in the TechFW program. This year his company aims to produce 20,000 electric motors and intelligent drive systems—with twice the torque and half the size and weight of competitors.
