Infrastructure Consulting firm Halff to Relocate its Richardson HQ to Bigger Digs in the City

With more than 30 offices in Texas, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, Halff is relocating its HQ to the Galatyn Commons office park. And the city of Richardson is stepping up with assistance to support Halff's "major investment."

Founded in 2023, Frisco-based Startup Runway is an accelerator with a mission of promoting the growth of India-based companies and other international businesses it represents. Now ensconced at Richardson's IQ HQ, it aims to help the city boost its designation as the "International Business Capital of North Texas."

Richardson Launches Pilot RAMP Program to Foster Research, Innovation, Growth

RAMP—the Richardson Research Award Match Program—aims to complement the federal Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs. Offering businesses matching grants of up to $150,000 per year, it's designed to attract and support research and development in Richardson, especially in The IQ—the city's Innovation Quarter.

Described as "an innovative company with a global reach," Austin Circuit Design was founded in Austin in 1985 and moved to Garland following a 2015 acquisition. The advanced design and manufacturing firm specializes in mechanical, industrial, hardware, and software design. COO Mark Cottam says the new IQ location will help ACD continue to "drive strong company growth" and "focus on innovation."
