Uber Launches Robotaxi Service in Dallas, With ‘Monitors’ Behind the Wheel for Now

Beginning today, Dallas riders using the Uber app can be matched with an Avride robotaxi—but only in 9 key square miles from downtown to Uptown to Turtle Creek to Deep Ellum. Coming to Dallas in 2026: robotaxi competition from Waymo and Lyft.
