Dallas’ African American Museum Gets $3M to Preserve and Digitize Its 50‑Year Collection

The funding from the Texas Historical Commission—with support from Google—will help safeguard and conserve the museum's extensive collection. "This investment is about more than just conservation,” Margie Johnson Reese, chief program officer of the museum, said. “It’s about making history accessible to a global audience."
