"These kids are very aspirational," says co-founder Kenny Freeland. " I think sometimes when the public looks at a kid with an illness, they forget that there's still a kid deep down there who has dreams and wants to do big things."
Over 30 pediatric hospitals including Dallas' Children's Health have come together through an accelerator program called KidsX. Startups are invited to apply to help these hospitals solve pain points through Oct. 7.
