Dallas-based CBRE had previously invested in Industrious—a flexible workspace provider with more than 200 units across over 65 cities—through a roughly 40% equity interest and a $100 million convertible note. Commercial real estate giant CBRE Group—which moved its headquarters from California to Uptown Dallas in 2020—plans to move its HQ just a couple blocks away to the Park District complex, where it will have striking views of Klyde Warren Park below and the downtown Dallas skyline just to the south.
That's according to a report by Steve Brown in the Dallas Morning News, who says CBRE will be leasing two and a half floors of office space totaling 67,000 square feet that were originally snapped up by its coworking business, Hana, in 2019.
