Plano-Based Noodoe’s EV OS Offered on Siemens EV Charging Stations

Under a newly NTEP-certified collaboration, Noodoe's EV operating system, EV OS, will be available with Siemens' public charging stations in North America in applications that require payment. Noodoe says it averages 99.9% percent monthly cloud service uptime—with no app required to access the chargers.

Plano-based Noodoe, an innovator in electric vehicle (EV) charging management software, has gotten a new boost through a collaboration with Siemens.

Noodoe announced today that it’s been jointly NTEP-certified with Siemens, a leading provider of EV charging technology. The integration of Noodoe’s advanced NTEP-certified EV charging software in Siemen’s EV-charging hardware system “sets new standards for reliability and user experience,” Noodoe said.

Under their collaboration, Noodoe’s EV operating system, EV OS, will be available with Siemens’ public charging stations in North America in applications that require payment.

Founded in 2013, Noodoe said the collaboration will offer “an open, user-friendly experience for EV drivers and a hands-off, automated platform for EV charging service providers.”

Aiming to deliver reliability—with no need for an app to access a charger

Along with range anxiety, many would-be and actual EV owners are often concerned about the reliability of EV charging stations. Citing Harvard Business School research, Noodoe notes that around one in five public EV chargers in the US are non-functional.

Noodoe says its software can help fix that via its “uptime guarantee” and its claimed average 99.9% percent monthly cloud service uptime.

Another common EV owner complaint? Having to download a new app every time they come across a new EV charger station. However, Noodoe says its EV OS-integrated stations are “app-free,” enabling businesses to easily offer charging programs while creating “a superior and hassle-free charging experience for drivers.”

Roman Kleinerman, VP of product for Noodoe, said his company’s joint NTEP certification with Siemens “represents a significant advancement in our commitment to delivering reliable, high-performance EV charging solutions.”

“Noodoe EV OS is designed to ensure seamless operation,” he added in a statement. “Our focus on high uptime and cutting-edge technological development ensures that businesses and drivers can rely on our charging solutions to be the most dependable and advanced in the market.”
