Lendtech software provider Sagent has moved to a new local office from Coppell to Dallas’ Cypress Waters development. The strategic expansion will serve as “a key hub for product development and delivery,” particularly for Sagent’s “revolutionary” Dara platform, the company said.
King of Prussia, Pennsylvania-based Sagent modernizes mortgage services for the nation’s top banks and lenders.
“Dallas is a vibrant mortgage servicing hub with a talented workforce, making it an ideal location for Sagent to grow and innovate,” Sagent CEO Geno Paluso said in a statement. “We’ll use this new space to collaborate more effectively with our teams, partners, and customers to accelerate the delivery of Dara while powering America’s top servicers today.”
Sagent said its new 10,000 square-foot Dallas facility opened its doors Monday and will serve as a hub for associates in the area.
The office site was chosen because of the numerous mortgage servicers in the area, its strong technology ecosystem, and access to top talent. Sagent said Dallas’ proximity to major financial centers and its growing tech scene makes it an ideal place for Sagent to expand its operations.
Sagent previously officed locally at 120 Dividend Drive in Coppell.
New office to play ‘a crucial role’
“The Dallas office will play a crucial role in our teams’ ability to collaborate, and overall delivery of our products, enabling the company to continue its mission of transforming the mortgage servicing industry,” said Sagent CTO Omer Farooque, who’s based in Dallas. “Our mission is to empower mortgage servicers with the tools they need to thrive, regardless of market cycles and volatility.”
“By opening a Dallas office, we’ll accelerate our innovation and delivery of Dara, a transformative servicing solution designed to solve serious challenges in the servicing sector,” Farooque added.
Sagent said its Dara platform is a “game changer” in the mortgage servicing industry that powers the entire performing, nonperforming, and consumer servicing ecosystem. The platform offers a comprehensive suite of tools and technologies that help Sagent’s customers reduce costs, enable compliance, and deliver a modern digital experience for homeowners.
