Photon source for promoting the growth and maturation rate of members of the Plantae and Protista kingdoms
Patent No. 12232462
Inventor(s): Ashlynn Joy Fix (Waxahachie, TX), Craig Satterfield (Waxahachie, TX), Eugene Edward Wisakowsky (Waxahachie, TX), Sergio Alejandro Gonzalez Ibarra (Waxahachie, TX)
Assignee(s): AGNUITY, INC. (Waxahachie, TX)
Law Firm: PERKINS COIE LLP (17 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 18492710 on 10/23/2023 (491 days app to issue)
Abstract: A photon source for promoting the growth and maturation rate of members of the Plantae and Protista Kingdoms comprises a new luminous power source that provides the full range of light spectra by mimicking sunlight in a sunfleck (dappled) pattern by exciting xenon gas inside of an enclosed glass tube in instantaneous pulsed sequences. The micro-dose pulse penetrates the leaf strata to reach the maximum amount of photon processing pigments, provides the energy required for growth by enhancing photosynthetic plant functions, and significantly reducing production energy consumption. The pulse also allows the plant or Protista’’s photon processing compounds to process the photosynthesis reaction before the next flash, which allows for optimal use of the energy provided. The pulsed lighting sequences reduce energy consumption by up to 90%, and this makes it an excellent application for solar, wind or other green energy power thus reducing carbon footprint and making it the future of the CEA industry.

In some embodiments, the workflow procedure can begin with the pallet conveyor supplying a loaded pallet to a specified position. The AMT, initially guided by fixed guidance elements of the facility guidance system, can lift the pallet off the conveyor and transport it to a trailer entrance where the AMT switches from the facility guidance system to a trailer guidance system. The AMT can then carry the pallet to an unloading position, move the pallet to one side of the trailer as needed, unload the pallet and return to the pallet conveyor. The workflow procedure can repeat until the trailer is full.

Abstract: Metal contaminants may be problematic in a number of industries, particularly in the mining industry. Fines production and dust control may be similarly problematic in many industries, including the mining industry. Reaction products formed from a saccharide polymer and diallyldimethylammonium chloride (DADMAC) under room temperature to heating conditions in the presence of a hydroxide base or a radical initiator may be effective for promoting removal of metal contaminants from clay-containing substances, such as through froth flotation. The reaction products may also be effective for mitigating fines production and providing dust control by forming a coating upon a plurality of particulates.

In an example, the reference voltage node is connectable to ground via a reference resistor connected in parallel with a noise-filtering capacitor, which causes a reference current to flow through the transistor. The reference current is adjusted based on the drain-to-source voltage of the transistor.

Assignee(s): Texas Instruments Incorporated (Dallas, TX)
Law Firm: No Counsel
Application No., Date, Speed: 17158095 on 01/26/2021 (1491 days app to issue)
Abstract: A streaming engine employed in a digital data processor specifies a fixed read only data stream. An address generator produces virtual addresses of data elements. An address translation unit converts these virtual addresses to physical addresses by comparing the most significant bits of a next address N with the virtual address bits of each entry in an address translation table. Upon a match, the translated address is the physical address bits of the matching entry and the least significant bits of address N. The address translation unit can generate two translated addresses. If the most significant bits of address N+1 match those of address N, the same physical address bits are used for translation of address N+1. The sequential nature of the data stream increases the probability that consecutive addresses match the same address translation entry and can use this technique.

Patent No. 12237431
Inventor(s): Babak Farhangi (Kew Gardens Hills, NY)
Assignee(s): BMIC LLC (Dallas, TX)
Law Firm: Greenberg Traurig, LLP (14 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 17839531 on 06/14/2022 (987 days app to issue)
Abstract: A photovoltaic module incorporates a lamination including a back-sheet, an array of solar cells supported on the back-sheet, and a transparent protective covering over the array of solar cells. The solar cells are arranged in offset or staggered patterns on the back-sheet to present a more random and less rigid industrial appearance to an observer. In some cases, cleaved solar cell segments are arranged into groups that are staggered on the back-sheet. This allows for finer control of the net voltage produced by a module. In other embodiments, full single wafer solar cells are arranged into larger groups, which themselves are staggered on the back-sheet. In either case, the result is a photovoltaic module with an appearance that is more organic and acceptable to homeowners and architects than traditional modules having cells arranged in rigid aligned rows and columns.
