Application No., Date, Speed: 16967165 on 02/08/2019 (2013 days app to issue)

Abstract: Cellulose nanofibers (CNF) act as a dispersing agent to directly exfoliate graphite in an aqueous solution using sonication. The resulting suspension has graphite flakes, each having 2-20 monolayers, a relatively large lateral dimension, and a plurality of CNF decorating its surfaces and edges. The dispersing effect of the CNF allows the graphite-CNF suspension to be stored without degradation until desired use. The graphite-CNF suspension can be used to form various composite structures, such as by spraying, coating, pouring, extruding, or printing the suspension, and then drying the suspension. The resulting composite structures have improved tensile strength and toughness due to hydrogen bond interactions between the CNF and graphite.

Patent No. 12061671

Inventor(s): Rajkumar Bondugula (Irving, TX)
Assignee(s): Equifax Inc. (Atlanta, GA)
Law Firm: Kilpatrick Townsend Stockton LLP (14 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 17450169 on 10/07/2021 (1041 days app to issue)

Abstract: In some aspects, techniques for creating representative and informative training datasets for the training of machine-learning models are provided. For example, a risk assessment system can receive a risk assessment query for a target entity. The risk assessment system can compute an output risk indicator for the target entity by applying a machine learning model to values of informative attributes associated with the target entity. The machine learning model may be trained using training samples selected from a representative and informative (RAI) dataset. The RAI dataset can be created by determining the informative attributes based on attributes used by a set of models and further extracting representative data records from an initial training dataset based on the determined informative attributes. The risk assessment system can transmit a responsive message including the output risk indicator for use in controlling access of the target entity to an interactive computing environment.

Dual data streams sharing dual level two cache access ports to maximize bandwidth utilization
Patent No. 12061908

Inventor(s): Joseph Zbiciak (San Jose, CA), Timothy Anderson (University Park, TX)
Assignee(s): Texas Instruments Incorporated (Dallas, TX)
Law Firm: No Counsel
Application No., Date, Speed: 17472852 on 09/13/2021 (1065 days app to issue)

Abstract: A streaming engine employed in a digital data processor specifies fixed first and second read only data streams. Corresponding stream address generator produces address of data elements of the two streams. Corresponding steam head registers stores data elements next to be supplied to functional units for use as operands. The two streams share two memory ports. A toggling preference of stream to port ensures fair allocation. The arbiters permit one stream to borrow the other”s interface when the other interface is idle. Thus one stream may issue two memory requests, one from each memory port, if the other stream is idle. This spreads the bandwidth demand for each stream across both interfaces, ensuring neither interface becomes a bottleneck.

The score of a quantum feature is adjusted according to an accuracy of the quantum data model. The scored set of classical features and the scored set of quantum features are combined according to a measure of differences between the scored set of classical features and the scored set of quantum features. Using the combined set of scored features and a first set of input data of a resource, a valuation of a resource is calculated.

Other predefined regions, in the set of predefined regions, having similar region characteristics to the target region are identified and attributes of the other predefined regions corresponding to the scenario features are identified. Modified model parameter(s) for an infectious disease computer model are derived based on the identified attributes. An instance of the infectious disease computer model is configured with the modified model parameter(s) and the instance is executed on case report data for the target region to generate a prediction for an infectious disease spread in the target region according to the hypothetical scenario, which is then output.

Application No., Date, Speed: 17389977 on 07/30/2021 (1110 days app to issue)

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a fabricating procedure of a radio frequency device, in which a precursor wafer including active layers, SiGe layers, and a silicon handle substrate is firstly provided. Each active layer is formed from doped epitaxial silicon and underneath a corresponding SiGe layer. The silicon handle substrate is over each SiGe layer. Next, the silicon handle substrate is removed completely, and the SiGe layer is removed completely. An etch passivation film is then formed over each active layer. Herein, removing each SiGe layer and forming the etch passivation film over each active layer utilize a same reactive chemistry combination, which reacts differently to the SiGe layer and the active layer. The reactive chemistry combination is capable of producing a variable performance, which is an etching performance of the SiGe layer or a forming performance of the etch passivation film over the active layer.

Abstract: A direct current (DC) bus voltage from a combined output of a plurality of DC power modules is controlled based on an alternating current (AC) voltage of a power grid. The DC bus voltage tracks the AC grid voltage to provide efficient conversion between the DC power sources and the AC grid, even when the amplitude of the AC grid voltage varies. In one example, a variable reference voltage is generated based on a detected AC grid voltage. The reference voltage increases and decreases in proportion to increases and decreases in the AC grid voltage. In this manner, large differences between the bus voltage and the grid voltage are avoided. By closely tracking the two voltages, efficiency in the modulation index for power conversion can be achieved.

Enhancing the robustness of uplink transmission
Patent No. 12063111

Inventor(s): Hongyan Lei (Plano, TX)
Assignee(s): ATT Intellectual Property I, L.P. (Atlanta, GA)
Law Firm: Guntin Gust, PLC (3 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 17659568 on 04/18/2022 (848 days app to issue)

Abstract: Techniques for controlling parameters for uplink transmission associated with a device to facilitate improving a communication condition metric(s) (CCM(s)) of the uplink transmission are presented. A communication management component (CMC) can determine whether CCM satisfies a first threshold CCM. If CCM does not, CMC can modify a parameter(s) to reduce a number of resource blocks or an MCS value to improve the CCM. If respective minimum threshold levels have been reached for the number of resource blocks and MCS value, and CCM still is not satisfying the first threshold CCM, CMC can modify a parameter to increase an amount of repetition of data packets for uplink transmission (unless a maximum threshold amount of repetition is reached). If CCM satisfies an applicable threshold CCM for a defined amount of time, CMC can modify parameters to increase the number of resource blocks, increase MCS value, or reduce repetition of data packets.
