Concentric, a national industrial power and maintenance company based in Carrollton, has acquired Critical Components Inc. (CCI) to expand its data center infrastructure capabilities and service footprint.
Based in Atlanta, CCI is a leading provider in the Southeast of critical power and precision cooling to data centers, industrials, healthcare, and more. CCI will take a leadership role at Concentric to fulfill its mission to serve critical infrastructure customers’ growing needs, the company said.
“Data centers require local expertise backed by enterprise-grade capabilities to meet the demands of speed, scale and ongoing resilience,” John Winter, president and CEO of Concentric, said in a statement. “CCI has built an incredible organization. The strength of their team and capabilities is already meeting the design, build and service needs for some of the largest data center customers in the world. We are excited to have their leadership in delivering a one-stop platform for critical power and cooling services that data centers, utilities, and industrial users increasingly need across the U.S. and beyond.”
Concentric and CCI aim to combine their strengths to address the evolving infrastructure demands of the data center market, the company said. Integrating Concentric’s innovative power solutions with CCI’s deep industry relationships and technical expertise empowers the combined company to better serve high-profile clients with comprehensive critical power and cooling capabilities, they added.
As the demand for AI and advanced computing drives transformation of the digital infrastructure, the companies said that their partnership enables a robust approach to addressing the complex power and cooling challenges facing data centers nationwide.
“We’ve spent decades developing expertise in critical power solutions for commercial and industrial customers,” said Scott Cockerham, founder and CEO of CCI. “Our team is known for solving complex power and cooling challenges with speed and precision. Concentric gives us a broader footprint and the resources to scale for our customers’ growing requirements.”
