Pharma industry veteran Paula Whitman has joined the Dallas office of JLL as vice president within the Healthcare and Life Sciences division, where she will specialize in healthcare brokerage, the company announced.

Whitman will serve as a valued adviser to her clients, focusing on the development and execution of leasing strategies for healthcare real estate within the Dallas-Fort Worth marketplace, JLL said.

Ethan Garner, South Central Healthcare and Life Sciences lead at JLL Dallas, says Whitman has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry working for established companies and startups, bringing an “extensive skill set and knowledge of both Healthcare and Life Science” to the growing JLL team.

“We welcome her to our shared mission of providing patient-centered service and maximizing positioning of our client’s real estate needs,” Garner said in a statement.

Before coming to JLL, Whitman held roles as a medical sales representative for 18 years at Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals and subsequently six years with two pioneering ventures in Biotech and Biologics.

She participated in Pfizer’s Regional Leadership Council and contributed to various advisory boards. Whitman played a pivotal role in shaping regional sales strategies and clinical training programs, JLL said.
