PMG has named Jon Dupuis president.
Former Dentsu global president Jon Dupuis has been named to the newly created role of president at Fort Worth-based independent technology and services agency PMG, Adweek reported.
He will join PMG’s executive team to drive global integrated services, a key contributor to PMG’s customer success to date, the report said. Dupuis will help continue investment in connecting full-funnel media, creative, data, insights, and technology, Adweek said. Dupuis will split time between PMG’s Fort Worth, Austin, and New York offices.
“PMG continues to drive business impact for our global customers by bringing a human and tech-enabled approach to our work,” PMG founder and CEO George Popstefanov said in a statement. “We are committed to accelerating our integrated model in pursuit of transformative results for our brand partners. It is the right time for PMG to add this level of leadership to our team, as Jon will help us ensure that PMG continues to over-deliver for our customers.”
During his 25-year career, Dupuis’ work has centered around how creative, media, and technology work together to drive success at global brands.
He comes to PMG from Dentsu where he was global president of dentsu mcgarrybowen and CEO of Dentsu Creative Americas. The agency has 33 offices across 24 countries.
Adweek reported that in September 2020, Dupuis was appointed CEO of Dentsu Creative across the Americas, where he brought 360i, Isobar, and dentsu mcgarrybowen together into a more unified offering. Before that, Dupuis worked at agencies McCann Erickson, Digitas, and Havas and led his own independent agency, NYCA, that he sold in 2008.
“PMG is a technology-first company that is redefining how brands go to market, from how they’re using data, to where they’re running media, to how they merge strategy, creativity and media buying into an outcome-obsessed approach,” Dupuis said in a statement. “I look forward to helping the stellar team at PMG continue to evolve through technology and lead us into a new era in which tech continues to be at the heart of everything we do.”
