Raanan Horowitz, former CEO of Fort Worth-based Elbit Systems of America, has been appointed to the board of advisors of Dallas-based Catalyze Partners.
“Raanan’s extensive experience in driving growth and fostering innovation within highly competitive industries makes him an invaluable addition to our Advisory Board,” Joe D’Cruz, founder and managing director of Catalyze Partners, said in a statement. “His leadership and expertise in both the public and private sectors, coupled with his dedication to cybersecurity and emerging technology, bring exceptional value to our mission.”
Horowitz has more than 30 years of leadership experience across the defense, commercial aviation, and healthcare sectors. Catalyze said he has a proven track record of driving growth and overseeing strategic acquisitions. The company said that Horowitz will draw from his extensive experience in scaling companies and navigating complex markets to help Catalyze further develop its portfolio of innovative technology-driven companies.
Catalyze said that under Horowitz’s leadership, Elbit Systems of America transformed into an enterprise generating $1.5 billion in annual revenue, driven by his sharp strategic direction and commitment to growth. It said his ability to balance innovation with operational efficiency helped scale the company while maintaining a strong focus on ethics and corporate responsibility, earning Elbit recognition as one of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies.”
Horowitz has served on the boards of other organizations, including BigBear.ai, GigCapital5, and Ametrine Inc., where he contributed to governance and strategic initiatives. Horowitz currently serves on the board of trustees for the Institute for Defense Analysis, the board of directors of Parry Labs, and actively participates in various industry and government task forces focused on enhancing U.S. innovation and competitiveness.
