Plano-based FBFK Law Firm, which also has growing offices in Austin, Houston, and Orange County, California, announced it has added 12 new attorneys, six of them in Plano.
This brings the firm’s total roster to 58, representing a more than 30% increase since January 2023 across Texas and California. The firm said the new hires are in response to demand for legal services from companies within the fast-growing middle market business segment.
“The demand for top-notch, high-touch, reasonably priced, full-service law firms in the middle market is greater than we’ve ever seen. The opportunity for growth is huge, and we’re grateful to be filling this critical, unmet need across three of our growth markets,” FBFK CEO Kyle Ferguson said in a statement.
FBFK has grown from 40 attorneys and three offices at the start of 2023 to 58 attorneys and four offices in mid-2024. This growth has bolstered the firm’s offerings through new practice areas, including data privacy and security, white-collar and regulatory law, and land use law.
The firm said the new attorneys — four of whom are shareholders — represent a cross-section of practice areas.
