ECi Software Solutions, a Fort Worth-based cloud business management software and services provider, announced it acquired Pacsoft in a deal that will significantly enhance ECi’s presence in Australia.
Maine-based Pacsoft is a provider of inventory management and point-of-sale software solutions for retail businesses across the globe. It has a significant presence in the Australian, New Zealand, and Pacific Islands markets. No terms were released on the acquisition, which closed on July 1.
In a press release, ECi said it will continue to innovate, sell, and support the Pacsoft suite of solutions, and its customers will join roughly 4,000 businesses that already utilize vertical-specific solutions from ECi’s LBM and Hardlines (LBMH) Division to run their businesses.
ECi has made 8 company acquisitions since first quarter of 2017
“Pacsoft’s customers face many of the same challenges that ECi’s core customer base does, so we understand what they are up against and need to effectively grow their businesses,” ECI Chief Executive Officer Ron Books said in the release. “By expanding the customer base, augmenting the product portfolio and extending our geographical footprint, we can bring additional value to all of the businesses we serve. Today marks the latest, but certainly not the last, opportunity for ECi to grow by seeking out innovative and valuable business solutions in the markets we serve.”
