Dallas Startup Week

Dallas Startup Week has announced its main hub for the 2018 celebration of North Texas’ entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems.

While the April 2-6 event will take place in multiple venues across Dallas-Fort Worth in its fourth year, the basecamp will be in Ross Tower, 500 N. Akard St. The downtown Dallas location includes conference rooms, coffee shop, and other amenities that support a collaborative working environment. The newly renovated building also is home to the Dallas Regional Chamber.

The first floor of Ross Tower will feature coworking opportunities as well as a digital display of information regarding the different schedules, speakers, and locations of events throughout the week, according to a blog post on the Dallas Startup Week website. The 14th floor will be the primary location with the second and sixth floor hosting activities as well.

Specific events are still being planned, but this year’s tracks are AI, Art/Music, Capital Funding, Corporate Innovation, Education, Emerging Technology, Fashion, Gaming, Health, Hospitality, Legal, Real Estate, Sales/Growth, Social Good, Digital Marketing, Travel/Tourism, and IoT.
