The Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine is said to be the world’s only NFL-themed golf club, and it just unveiled the kind of multi-million-dollar renovation the ‘Pokes themselves could surely use. Features include a high-tech driving range that hits toward a 60-yard-long Cowboys playing field—complete with uprights—and an 18-hole putting course with Cowboys-blue links.
Details matter: The driving range utilizes “game-used AT&T Stadium turf,” says Arcis Golf, a Dallas-based owner and operator of 88 private, resort, and daily-fee golf properties across the U.S., including its “flagship” Cowboys Golf Club.
Arcis Golf commissioned renowned course architect Beau Welling to completely redesign the club’s championship course, with Arcis’ in-house design and construction team overseeing implementation.

“We reimagined every aspect of this property to create unforgettable experiences for our members and guests,” said Blake Walker, Arcis Golf’s founder, chairman, and CEO.
“From championship-caliber golf to immersive Cowboys-themed entertainment, visitors now enjoy a destination that blends world-class sport with the excitement and tradition of America’s Team,” Walker added in a statement.
Dallas Innovates took a deep dive into Arcis Golf back in 2021. after it acquired four Phil Mickelson golf properties in Arizona. Since then, it snapped up three of the West’s marquee golf courses, named world #1-ranked LPGA Champion Lilia Vu as brand ambassador, and partnered with iFIT on golf fitness programming.
‘First club in the nation’ to do this to its greens
Arcis Golf said the Cowboys Golf Club is the first in the U.S. to feature Tif3D Bermuda on all 20 greens, including its practice facility—”ensuring consistent, pristine championship-level conditions year-round.”
All 18 greens on the course were expanded and modernized with “dramatic contours and thrilling new hole locations,” the company said, “challenging golfers of every skill level.”
Additionally, architectural styling and bunkering features were “comprehensively reimagined.” On the par-3 third hole, for instance, bunkers were relocated to the front of the green, allowing the hillside backdrop to showcase the Dallas Cowboys’ famed star logo.

‘Redefining and gamifying’ the golf experience
“This transformation is about more than aesthetics—it’s about redefining and gamifying how people experience golf,” Walker added, noting that the club now blends “championship-caliber design with immersive entertainment.”
“It’s golf redefined, fan-inspired, and built for families, players, and guests,” Walker said.
The 18-hole putting course is called The Huddle. Nearby, golfers can enjoy food and beverage offerings at The Huddle’s Airstream trailer, with frozen margaritas, local beers, and signature barbacoa tacos and sausages crafted exclusively for Arcis Golf.
The club’s Ring of Honor Kitchen & Bar features “a bold Texas fusion menu, highlighting the freshest local ingredients and dry-aged meats,” with a 23-foot smoker and wood-fire grill accentuating the smoky flavors; On the Five Points Patio, guests can sip drinks as they look out on the new event lawn, putting course, and practice areas.

The history of the Cowboys is well-represented at the club. Super Bowl trophies, Tom Landry’s fedora hat, and other historic team mementos line the clubhouse interior and display cases. And stone markers throughout the course highlight milestone moments from the Cowboys’ history.
Arcis owns eight other clubs in DFW
Arcis Golf owns eight other clubs in Dallas-Fort Worth among its 88-club portfolio, including Bear Creek Golf Club, Lantana Golf Club, The Golf Club at Fossil Creek, The Club at Frisco Farms, Gentle Creek Country Club, Lake Park Golf Club, Mansfield National Golf Club, and The Golf Club at Twin Creeks.
The company said it has invested more than $175 million over the past four years on property upgrades, new amenities, personnel, training, and systems “to create extraordinary experiences and forge emotional connections with members and guests.”
