City of Dallas Adds Lifesaving Trauma Kits to Facilities

The city of Dallas has announced that lifesaving trauma kits soon will be available in most city facilities such as police substations, recreation centers, and at City Hall. 

The kits, intended for use by non-experts before medical professionals arrive, are used to stop massive bleeding, treat chest injuries, and provide airway clearance in emergencies such as active shooter situations, the city said in a release. ...

New York Coworking Company Coming to Dallas

North Texas is getting another coworking space. New York-based WeWork has rented two floors in the new 1920 McKinney office tower in the Uptown area of Dallas.

The Dallas Morning News reports that WeWork won’t confirm the new location, although building permits from Buildzoom.com show the transaction. From the DMN report:
