North Texas’ JBB Advanced Technologies Sells Tronic in $12B Deal

The stratospheric deal for the Web3 digital marketing innovator was announced by John B. Billingsley, chairman and CEO of Carollton-based JBB Advanced Technologies, and attorney and business investor Christina Marshall, owner of Tronic Ventures. It comes two years after Billingsley sold his renewables-focused Tri Global Energy for $270 million.

Apple Executive Joins Board of Irving’s Neovia Logistics

Irving-based global contract logistics provider Neovia Logistics has appointed Apple executive Gerard Macken to its board of directors.

According to Neovia, Macken has held a variety of executive leadership positions overseeing logistics and supply chains, most recently as senior director, Worldwide Logistics and Supply Chain for Apple.

“Gerard brings a wealth of industry experience, know-how, and expertise to Neovia,” Board Chairman Carlos Rodriguez said in a statement, adding that Macken “will be a tremendous asset to the board and the company’s executive leadership team” as Neovia continues its focus on growth and expanding its global customer base....
