North Texas’ JBB Advanced Technologies Sells Tronic in $12B Deal

The stratospheric deal for the Web3 digital marketing innovator was announced by John B. Billingsley, chairman and CEO of Carollton-based JBB Advanced Technologies, and attorney and business investor Christina Marshall, owner of Tronic Ventures. It comes two years after Billingsley sold his renewables-focused Tri Global Energy for $270 million.

Colorado City-based Notes Live aims to break ground late this year on the Sunset Amphitheater at a 46-acre site northeast of U.S. 75 and S.H. 121. The "world-class venue" will hold up to 20,000 and feature over 250 luxury fire pit suites, reserved seating options, and a landscaped grass berm, all under an "iconic roof structure."

Irving-based global contract logistics provider Neovia Logistics has appointed Apple executive Gerard Macken to its board of directors.
According to Neovia, Macken has held a variety of executive leadership positions overseeing logistics and supply chains, most recently as senior director, Worldwide Logistics and Supply Chain for Apple.
