The Dallas Stars announced Monday that they've inked a seven-year agreement with A Parent Media Co. (APMC) to stream all regional Dallas Stars NHL games "free of charge." Beginning with the 2024-25 season, games will be broadcast on the newly formed VICTORY+—a free, ad-supported, direct-to-consumer streaming service created by APMC with the Stars.

Mesa, Arizona-based Sun Auto Tire & Service has acquired 33 Caliber Auto Care locations throughout the state of Texas, including 16 in Dallas, building on its investment in Texas, the company announced in June.
Caliber is headquartered in Lewisville.
Sun Auto said the acquisition reinforces its dedication to excellence and its values-centered approach across its rapidly growing national footprint....

Dallas-Based Citation Capital Gets Investment from Collaborative Asset Owner Network

In April, Bloomberg reported that Citation Capital aims to raise $850 million for its debut fund, which would be one of the largest-ever inaugural PE firm raises in Texas. Founded in 2023, the Dallas firm snagged a majority stake in "better for you" snack manufacturer Cibo Vita last October.

Dallas Love Field is one of the first airports in the U.S. to get the technology from Madrid, Spain-based Indra. Called AeroBOSS, it uses ADS-B surveillance technology and 5G data networks to improve air traffic control situational awareness and reduce the risk of runway incursions.

Last week's earthquake luxury retail news caused ripples from Dallas to New York and beyond. Saks Fifth Avenue parent company HBC is acquiring Neiman Marcus Group for $2.65 billion, establishing a new "technology-powered" luxury retail company called Saks Global. And Amazon is a key partner in the deal—along with being an investor, it will work with Saks Global "to innovate on behalf of customers and brands partners following the close of the transaction," the companies said.
