Irving-based asset management platform American Beacon Partners has appointed Patti Barron as its chief transformation officer. She will oversee strategic transformation initiatives and drive operational efficiency throughout the organization, the company said.
Barron brings more than 26 years of global leadership experience across risk management, operations, and enterprise transformation. She joins American Beacon from Barrow Hanley Global Investors, where she spent the past 26 years in leadership roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently as chief operating officer, she led cross-functional initiatives across product development, technology transformation, strategic sourcing and cost reduction. Previously, she served as chief risk officer and chief compliance officer, working closely with executive leadership to balance strategic objectives with risk potential.
“With more than two decades of global leadership experience, [Patti] brings a rare combination of strategic vision, hands-on execution and operational expertise needed to guide our next phase of growth,” Greg Stumm, President and CEO of American Beacon Partners, said in a statement. “She’s a transformative leader in every sense of the word, and we’re excited to have her play an instrumental role in shaping the future of our organization.”
Barron expressed enthusiasm about joining the company.
“American Beacon has a strong culture and a clear strategic vision,” she said. “My focus will be on empowering teams, improving how we work together, and ensuring our efforts create lasting value for both employees and clients. I look forward to working with the leadership team to drive strategic innovation and meaningful transformation.”
Just last week, American Beacon announced the appointment of CFO John Linnehan. Also joining the company since December 2025 are Head of Product Development Tim McGeeney and Chief Marketing Officer Bernadette Bridy.
American Beacon is a diversified asset management platform with more than 30 affiliated and independent manager partnerships, offering lasting value through traditional and alternative solutions.
