AmazonFresh now delivers portion-sized groceries from Martha & Marley Spoon throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Martha & Marley Spoon sells raw ingredients that customers prepare in their own kitchen.
The company was founded by Fabian Siegel, an entrepreneur who wants to disrupt the grocery store model. He sees grocery stores as wasteful because so much food goes unused.
It serves only grass-fed meats and has cut down on the supply chain so the food is fresher than what you’d get at the grocery store, Siegel said in a previous interview with Dallas Innovates.
MARTHA & MARLEY SPOON HAS GRAND PRAIRIE WAREHOUSE
Siegel teamed up with Martha Stewart, who inspires the recipes and cooking methods used for the meal kits.
Martha & Marley Spoon meals are available for two adults or two adults and two children so there’s no waste. They include easy-to-follow instructions so anyone can make a gourmet meal.
The company opened a 30,000-square-foot warehouse in Grand Prairie last year that ships throughout middle America.
