North Texas has gained yet another corporate headquarters.
Mexico-based IT company, Softtek has moved its U.S. and Canada headquarters from Miami into a 14,000-square-foot space in Addison, according to D CEO‘s Danielle Abril.
Softtek offers technology solutions for automation, connected devices, virtual reality, smart cities, and more. It was recently named a “Top 15 Sourcing Standout” by Information Services Group, a global technology research and advisory firm.

It’s new Addison office, which also houses Softek’s innovation labs, employs 100 people with plans to hire an additional 50 more in the future, D CEO reported.
Marcos Jimenez, CEO of Softtek’s U.S. and Canada operations, told the magazine the area’s tech talent and centralized location in the U.S. helped seal the deal while noting his company received no incentives.
“To be here … allows us to show how committed we are to this market,” Blanca Treviño, CEO of Softtek’s global operation, told D CEO. “We’re here for the long run.”
Softek is the second Mexico-based company to move a major headquarters to Addison in the last year. Theater chain Cinépolis relocated its U.S. headquarters from Los Angeles last June.
“Addison is a small town, but we can [attract] banks, insurance companies, and high-tech companies,” Addison Mayor Joe Chow told D CEO. “It could be a small Silicon Valley here.”
