San Francisco-based Nex—maker of Nex Playground, an active play console for families and kids—is harnessing Dude Perfect’s trick-shot entertainment into its AI-powered, motion-based gaming system.
Nex has announced a partnership with Frisco-based Dude Perfect that will leverage the creators’ 60 million followers on YouTube—and over 100 million followers across all platforms—bringing increased awareness to the company’s core product.
Together, Nex and Dude Perfect say they will bring the Dudes’ “signature high-energy trick-shot excitement” to the company’s customers through an all-new motion-powered gameplay launching exclusively on Nex Playground in summer 2026.
The move promises to expand Nex Playground’s sports titles, which Nex calls “one of the most popular and fastest-accelerating content categories” on the gaming platform.
“Dude Perfect has inspired millions of fans around the world with the sheer joy they bring to every challenge,” said Nex CEO David Lee said in a statement. “Their brand is the perfect match for Nex Playground, where our mission is to turn active play into unforgettable family moments. We’re excited to bring the Dudes’ energy into the living room in a whole new way.”
Nex said the gaming experience will capture “the enthusiasm and personality the group is known for,” featuring appearances from the Dude’s Panda mascot and moments inspired by the team’s most iconic content.
The collaboration will also include deeper cross-brand opportunities, with Nex and Dude Perfect joint integrations slated to appear across the Dudes’ Summer 2026 Squad Games Tour, as well as “new experiential areas.”
“One of the best parts of what we do at Dude Perfect is getting to inspire fans to get up and try their own version of competition and play,” Dude Perfect CEO Andrew Yaffe said in a statement. “NEX’s focus on active play together in an accessible format makes them a great partner for reaching fans in the gaming space, and we see an opportunity to work together to bottle up some of the Dudes-style fun and bring it to our fans in new ways.”
Controller-free console is powered by AI
Nex said its Nex Playground is the only controller-free console built specifically for families, using motion-powered gameplay to make active, communal play accessible for all ages. To address privacy and safety concerns, the company says motion-tracking data stays local to the device, and every system includes a built-in camera cover.
Families can play the entire catalog of games on Nex Playground with Play Pass, a subscription delivering ad-free access. Nex Playground is available on Amazon as well as in leading retail stores nationwide.
The Nex partnership is just the latest big alignment for Dude Perfect. An all-new Dude Perfect Zone will be part of Dig World—a construction-themed, “Shark Tank”-featured adventure park coming this year to Grapevine Mills in Grapevine. Dude Perfect also recently announced a partnership with Regal Cinemas to screen “Dude Perfect: The Hero Tour,” a brand-new, immersive film experience designed for families and superfans alike. An international release is scheduled in hundreds of theaters and will kick off with a premiere in Los Angeles before launching worldwide from Sept. 26 through Oct. 9.
