Improving Acquires Dallas Tech Consulting and Software Firm MangoChango

Dallas-based Improving said the MangoChango deal is its third acquisition this year. With a primary workforce based in Guatemala, the add-on enables Improving to leverage the expertise of an expanded Latin America presence.

Dallas-based digital services company Improving has acquired MangoChango, a Dallas tech consulting and custom software development firm specializing in architecture, infrastructure, and product delivery, with a primary workforce based in Guatemala.

The deal is Improving’s third acquisition this year. The company said the deal enables it to leverage the expertise of an expanded Latin America presence and is expected to increase Improving’s annualized revenue to exceed $300 million, while expanding its development capabilities.

Terms of the MangoChango deal were not disclosed. In June, we told you about Improving acquiring DragonSpears.

“We’re delighted to welcome MangoChango and their exceptional development team in Guatemala to the Improving brand,” Improving CEO Curtis Hite said in a statement. “Their technical expertise and agile delivery model are a perfect fit for our vision of building scalable, high-impact solutions with global reach.”

By adopting Improving’s innovative “Enterprise Strategy,” which unites technology service firms with a shared dedication to trust, excellence, and a thriving work culture, the MangoChango leadership team will stay in place, Improving said.

Improving said that MangoChango’s Guatemala-based delivery model combines top-tier engineering talent with seamless team integration, while its Dallas-based sales and client operations ensure close alignment with customer needs. Together, that structure enables clients to accelerate digital transformation, scale flexibly, and achieve lasting business impact through stable, high-performing teams, Improving said.

“Becoming part of Improving is a tremendous opportunity for MangoChango,” Rene Larrave, chairman and founder of MangoChango, said in a statement. “Our team in Guatemala is proud to contribute our passion for solving complex technology problems and delivering high-quality software. Together, we’re excited to expand our impact and help clients achieve meaningful outcomes through innovation and collaboration.”

Since 2019, Improving has partnered with private equity firm Trinity Hunt Partners to accelerate its growth. The company operates internationally, with 21 offices across the Americas and India.
