ATI Adds Veteran Exec To Lead High Performance Materials, Components Segment

ATI, which produces and sells specialty materials and complex components worldwide, said Netta Washington will guide the strategy and performance of the businesses within its HPMC segment, helping to continue to leverage the synergies and optimize the supply chain between them.

Netta Washington

Veteran executive Netta Washington has joined Dallas-based ATI Inc. as executive vice president and will lead its High Performance Materials and Components (HPMC) segment.

The company said Washington will guide the strategy and performance of the businesses within HPMC, helping to continue to leverage the synergies and optimize the supply chain between them. She’ll be based at headquarters and will report to ATI President and Chief Operating Officer (and incoming CEO) Kimberly A. Fields.

“Through Netta’s leadership, we’ll continue to drive growth, earnings and cash flow in Forged Products and Specialty Materials,” Fields said in a statement. “She has an impressive track record of increasing operational performance in complex businesses, growing revenue and establishing operating rhythms. She’ll help to build on the strong performance and capabilities in this segment to drive even more exceptional results.”

Washington will also serve on ATI’s executive council.

ATI is a global producer of high performance materials and solutions for the global aerospace and defense markets, and critical applications in electronics, medical, and specialty energy.

ATI said that Washington comes to the company from IDEX Corp., where she was president of the Energy & Valves Division and the Water Division, driving strong revenue and EBITDA growth, improving operational performance, and positioning the organization for global expansion.

As president of Honeywell’s Gas Analysis and Safety business, Washington executed the strategic plan to grow revenue, including in Energy Transition and emerging markets.

At Air Liquide, she led the operational turnaround of their nanotechnology services business unit as general manager in the Electronics Division, and served as VP of corporate quality, introducing Lean Six Sigma methodologies across the enterprise, ATI said.

Previously, Washington worked at GE and Halliburton.
