Each rule may indicate a corresponding element, a corresponding pattern, and a type of remediation. The DOM structure may include elements, where each element is associated with text. The masking device may traverse the DOM structure to identify elements that map to corresponding elements indicated by the rules. The masking device may determine whether text, associated with the identified elements, is sensitive information by determining whether the text maps to corresponding patterns indicated by the rules. The masking device may perform validation on the sensitive information. The masking device may modify the DOM structure based on the sensitive information, the validation, and a type of remediation indicated by the rules. Accordingly, the masking device may output the modified DOM structure.

Automated categorization and processing of document images of varying degrees of quality
Patent No. 11881041
Inventor(s): Aftab Khan (Richardson, TX)
Assignee(s): Bank of America Corporation (Charlotte, NC)
Law Firm: No Counsel
Application No., Date, Speed: 17465547 on 09/02/2021 (873 days app to issue)
Abstract: An apparatus includes a memory and a processor. The memory stores a dictionary and a machine learning algorithm trained to classify text. The processor receives an image of a page, converts the image into a set of text, and identifies a plurality of tokens within the text. Each token includes one or more contiguous characters that are both preceded and followed by whitespace within the text. The processor identifies invalid tokens by removing tokens of the plurality of tokens that correspond to words of the dictionary. The processor calculates, based on a ratio of a total number of valid tokens to a total number of tokens, a score. In response to determining that the score is greater than a threshold, the processor applies the machine learning algorithm to classify the text into a category and stores the image and/or text in a database according to the category. Abstract: To save power during a read process, NAND strings of each sub-block of a block have independently controlled source side select lines connected to source side select gates and drain side select lines connected to drain side select gates so that NAND strings of unselected sub-blocks can float and not draw current. To prevent read disturb in NAND strings of unselected sub-blocks, after all word lines are raised to a pass gate voltage, unselected word lines nearby the selected word line are lowered to respective intermediate voltages while lowering the voltage on the selected word line in order to achieve a channel potential gradient in the floated NAND strings of the unselected sub-blocks that does not result in read disturb. Subsequently, the selected word line is raised to the appropriate read compare voltage so the selected memory cells can be sensed.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of user authentication is provided. The method comprises combining, by a computer system, a user recurrent neural network with a system recurrent neural network to form a unique combined recurrent neural network. The user recurrent neural network is configured to generate a unique user key, and the system recurrent neural network is configured to generate a system key. The computer system inputs a predetermined input into the combined recurrent neural network, and the combined recurrent neural network generates a unique combined key from the input, wherein the combined key differs from both the user key and system key. The computer system then associates the combined key with a unique access authorization to authenticate a user.

Multi-beam MIMO antenna systems and methods
Patent No. 11881977
Inventor(s): Igor Timofeev (Dallas, TX), Serguei Matitsine (Dallas, TX)
Assignee(s): Matsing, Inc. (Irvine, CA)
Law Firm: Fish IP Law, LLP (2 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 18220533 on 07/11/2023 (196 days app to issue)
Abstract: This application proposes multi-beam antenna systems using spherical lens with high isolation between antenna ports and compatible to 22, 44, 88 MIMO transceivers. Several compact multi-band multi-beam solutions (with wideband operation, 40%+, in each band) are achieved by creating dual-band radiators movable on the track around spherical lens and by placing of lower band radiators between spherical lenses. By using of secondary lens for high band radiators, coupling between low band and high band radiators is reduced. Beam tilt range and side lobe suppression are improved by special selection of phase shift and rotational angle of radiators. Resultantly, a wide beam tilt range (0-40 degree) is realized in proposed multi-beam antenna systems. Each beam can be individually tilted. Based on proposed single- and multi-lens antenna solutions, cell coverage improvements and stadium tribune coverage optimization are also achieved, together with interference reduction.

Patent No. 11882138
Inventor(s): Bruno dos Santos Silva (McKinney, TX)
Assignee(s): International Business Machines Corporation (Armonk, NY)
Law Firm: No Counsel
Application No., Date, Speed: 16904963 on 06/18/2020 (1314 days app to issue)
Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer system to identify threats on a TCP/IP-based network. The approach leverages a set of reference patterns (or ”network spectrals”) associated with one or more defined Indicators of Compromise (IoCs). At least one reference pattern is time-bounded and profiles a network traffic pattern using a set of session data (e.g., volume, direction, traffic metadata) that is payload-neutral and may be derived in part by time-series compression of at least one non-varying encoding interval. Network traffic data associated with a traffic pattern under test is received and encoded to generate a test spectral. A stream-based real-time comparison is performed to determine whether the test spectral matches against any of the reference spectrals. Responsive to identifying a match, a given remediation or mitigation action is then taken. A reference spectral may represent a bi- or multi-directional flow, and the multi-directional flow may involve multiple entities.
