Pink Pedi, a nail salon and apothecary in Dallas that touts no fumes or toxins, has opened in Sylvan | Thirty, a mixed-use development along Sylvan Avenue that supports sustainability, entrepreneurs, and locally-sourced products.
Pink Pedi is the first nail salon in Dallas to exclusively carry the entire nail polish lines of OPI’s Infinite Shine hybrid polish collection and Zoya, a polish line free of cancer-causing chemicals commonly found in nail polish.
NO BAD SMELLS
Photographer Brandon Lyon and former fashion designer Lucy Dang, both of whom were honored with Fashion Group International of Dallas’ Rising Star awards in 2015, opened the salon with environmentally-conscious products, promising no bad smells.
MADE FROM SCRATCH
The salon’s apothecary products — body butters, medicinal essential oil rollers, and organic sugar scrubs — are made in-house using therapeutic-grade essential oils and all-natural ingredients.
“We like to think of Pink Pedi as the nail salon version of an ‘Origins’ or ‘Aveda,’” Dang said, in a release.
“At Sylvan | Thirty, we pride ourselves on embracing family businesses with a passion for locally-sourced products. Pink Pedi embodies both in a stylish setting,” said Brent Jackson, owner and developer of Sylvan|Thirty.
