Kanarys, the Dallas-based DEI tech startup, is ready for its closeup.
The company and its co-founder and CEO, Mandy Price, are featured in a new episode of “Spiraling Up: The Journey to Become a Unicorn,” a short film docuseries from HubStart for Founders and LinkedIn.
In the episode, which debuted last week, Price talks about her own journey while sharing the mission and vision of Kanarys, detailing how the company is transforming DEI in the workplace using data.
“Starting out in my career, I never imagined I would be an entrepreneur, but I’m extremely thankful that I made that leap to co-found my company, Kanarys,” Price said in a statement. “Like many founders, I’ve gone through many ups and downs building my business, but I always remember our vision—to create workplaces where everyone belongs.”
Price added that she hopes the episode will “inspire other entrepreneurs to not lose sight of their mission when things get tough. Eventually, you’ll reach a turning point and see your impact become a reality.”
HubSpot is a Kanarys investor
Earlier this year, Kanarys announced that HubSpot invested in its platform through HubSpot Venture. In turn, Kanarys will help HubSpot’s 135,000 customers improve DEI in their workplaces through solutions like Kanarys’ DEI Maturity Quiz.
The docuseries’ first season also features Stephen Cluskey, CEO and founder of Mobility Mojo; Dileep Thazhmon, CEO and co-founder of Jeeves; and Suneeram Madhani, CEO and co-founder of Stax.
