Dynata appoints Pan as EVP of marketing

Pattie Qing Pan has been appointed as executive vice president of marketing at Dynata, a global provider of first-party data and services that is headquartered in Plano.

Pan brings extensive experience in brand strategy and activation, demand generation, global communications, and public relations to her new role.

Dynata said Pan will lead its marketing strategy as it continues to leverage first-party data solutions across the entire marketing services spectrum.

Previously, Pan was vice president of global marketing at Mastercard. 

One Network Enterprises names new chief financial officer

Robert Curry

One Network Enterprises, the Farmers Branch-based provider of supply chain network technology, has named industry veteran Robert Curry as chief financial officer.

Curry will report directly to CEO Greg Brady and will lead the company’s financial strategy and operations. He has more than three decades of experience in executive management and finance, which includes roles as both chief operating officer and chief financial officer managing finance, operations, IT, and human resources departments.

Payer Compass announces two leadership additions

Slayton Gorman

Payer Compass, a Plano-based provider of healthcare reimbursement technology and price transparency solutions, announced Matthew Thompson will be its new chief financial officer and Slayton Gorman will serve as the chief revenue officer.

Thompson will oversee the company’s accounting and financial reporting, as well as business and financial analysis. He comes to Payer Compass with more than 20 years of financial management experience.

Gorman will be responsible for all revenue-generation strategy and execution, and will oversee sales and marketing efforts. Gorman has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

Anderson takes the helm at Irving-based EFJohnson Technologies

JVC Kenwood Corp. (JVCKENWOOD) has promoted Duane Anderson to president and chief executive officer of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Irving-based EF Johnson Technologies Inc.

Anderson joined EF Johnson in 2012 as a controller, and in 2015 was named chief financial officer. Anderson has more than 20 years of finance and operations leadership experience with manufacturing companies in public, private, and startup organizations.

An independent subsidiary of JVCKENWOOD, EF Johnson focuses on innovating, developing, and marketing the highest quality secure communications solutions to organizations that protect and save lives, including first responders in public safety and public service, the federal government, and industrial organizations.

Istation’s Collins receives CEO of the Year award

Istation’s Richard Collins has been named the winner of the EdTech CEO of the Year award in the inaugural EdTech Breakthrough Awards program, the company announced.

Istation is a comprehensive e-learning program that is used by more than 4 million students and educators globally. It aims to help students, teachers, and administrators find hidden strengths via engaging educational technology programs in reading, math, and literacy. The company was founded in 1998.

“Istation is a leader in the realm of engaging and interactive software products which can enhance and enrich classroom education,” James Johnson, managing director at EdTech Breakthrough, said in a statement. “We are excited to recognize CEO Richard Collins for his vision in helping propel the educational technology forward, as well as industry leadership among a company that helps millions of students learn through innovative and collaborative learning programs.”

Part of Tech Breakthrough, a market intelligence and recognition platform for global technology innovation and leadership, the EdTech Breakthrough Awards program honors excellence in educational technology products, companies, and people. 

The NRP Group hires Brown as regional vice president

David Brown

David Brown has been hired as regional vice president of development by Irving-based The NRP Group, a vertically-integrated, best-in-class developer, builder, and manager of multifamily housing.

He will oversee NRP’s pursuit of development opportunities in Dallas, which is experiencing a growing demand for multifamily housing.

Brown began his real estate career at LMC, a Lennar company, where he was responsible for managing all phases of development on projects throughout Texas, including Dallas’ The 23 Victory Park, a mixed-use high-rise development.

May joins Varsity Brands as chief human resources officer

Martha May has joined Farmers Branch-based Varsity Brands as chief human resources officer, a role in which she will be responsible for strengthening the company’s culture and mission around “elevating student experience.”

Varsity Brands is a leader in team sports, school spirit, and achievement recognition through its brands of team athletic gear, cheerleading uniforms, and graduation and recognition products.

Previously, May was with The Freeman Co., where she was chief people officer and executive vice president of people and inclusion.

Cummins promoted to VP at Lone Star Analysis

Laurie Cummins has been promoted from director to vice president of program and systems advisory by Lone Star Analysis, an Addison-based provider of advisory services that’s internationally recognized for leading-edge predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions.

In her new role, Cummins will focus on the further growth of the program and systems advisory business segment through additional initiatives. 

Previously, Cummins was responsible for leading the program and system advisory line of Lone Star’s business, where she played an important part in the successful qualification of the Norwegian Joint Strike Missile.

Hill retiring as WFF’s president, CEO

Hattie Hill

Hattie Hill is retiring as the Women’s Foodservice Forum’s president and CEO.

Hill is an international leadership development expert, professional speaker, best-selling author, and renowned thought leader. She’s been CEO of Hattie Hill Enterprises Inc. for more than 30 years.

As president and CEO of WFF for the past six years, Hill created a legacy of championing gender parity in the workplace, and she will continue to advise the organization through the year’s end. Her experience with WFF includes serving as an executive consultant to the board and member of the board.

Current board chair Denny Marie Post has been appointed to serve as president and CEO until the formal search for a long-term leader is completed.
