Venture Dallas is a non-profit, volunteer-led organization that is committed to promoting and advancing the startup and early stage investment ecosystem in North Texas. The organization believes the region is one of the best places in the world to grow companies and invest in them.

Venture Dallas invites investors from across the United States to join them for a month-long virtual summit to learn about local technology and venture successes, and opportunities in Dallas-Fort Worth.

The platform will be live from September 15th to October 18th. Venture Dallas 2020 will be free for all qualified investors and entrepreneurs.

Venture Dallas has partnered with Thumbraise to connect Texas startups with venture capital investors. The organization will promote the rapidly growing startup ecosystems in North Texas and surrounding cities by showcasing many of the area’s top venture-oriented businesses. Whether you’re currently fundraising or planning to in the near future, the experiential event is an opportunity for startups to connect with hundreds of venture capital investors from across the country.

The Venture Dallas private network allows investors to discover startups through video pitches, request information, and easily meet with founders.

Venture Dallas’ 2020 host committee, comprised of representatives from Capital Factory, Cypress Growth Capital, Intelis Capital, JF2 Capital, Perot Jain, and Silicon Valley Bank, is dedicated to leveraging the group’s deep ties to the venture and tech community to make this a truly valuable event.

As a strategic partner, the Dallas Regional Chamber is supporting Venture Dallas by managing event logistics and connecting with key members from the startup and corporate community.

The group’s first Venture Dallas summit was held in 2019. The summit focused on making introductions that lead to deals. Investors from 15 states had more than 150 meetings with entrepreneurs. That success led the host committee to begin planning in January 2020 for this year’s event, which went virtual due to the pandemic. The 30-day event kicks off in September.
