MAVERICK SPEAKER SERIES FEATURES GRAHAM HILL

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or unable to balance your busy schedule, there’s no need to fret. Learn about “Removing the Unnecessary in Life and Business” from Graham Hill, one of Fast Company’s “100 most Creative People in Business.” The Mavericks Speaker Series hosts innovative speakers throughout the year, with Hill’s Ted Talk been viewing 2.5 million times.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 14

DESIGN & MANUFACTURING FORUM
Toyota Motor North America in Plano 
2 – 4:45 p.m.

Nate Moran, the general manager of Toyota Motor North America Quality, will be speaking on key principles of Toyota’s quality culture and customer first mindset. Those in attendance will also get to visit several lab areas in Toyota’s headquarters. The event is currently sold out, but registration for the waiting list is still available for those who are interested. The registration deadline is Sept. 13 at noon.

TEXAS PINNERS CONFERENCE

Pinterest lovers, unite! The annual Pinterest conference offers avid users the chance to shop, connect, learn, and create with one another. The conference will be offering over 100 classes and 250 booths to shop from.

BITCOIN, ETHEREUM, & BLOCKCHAIN SUPERCONFERENCE
Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, in Dallas

According to the event site, there are over 1,000 expected attendees, 70 top-notch speakers and 100+ exhibitors from the Bitcoin, Ethereum & Blockchain worlds, and talks from ICOs and blockchain startups and more. A few of the keynote speakers include:

HAROLD SIMMONS PARK PUBLIC WORKSHOP 1
West Dallas Multipurpose Center in Dallas

Help keep Dallas’s own Trinity River beautiful. This interactive workshop helps members of the Dallas community ‘Reimagine Our River’ and share their own ideas on the development of the Harold Simmons Park. This is the first in a series of workshops, which will continue through Oct. 4.

AN EVENING WITH KEVIN MCDONALD

HEALTH TECH FORUM
MATRIX in Dallas

Speaker Chris Longpre is the business unit leader for EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR), and wants to help you learn more about the impacts. BIG DESIGN CONFERENCE 2018
Gilley’s Dallas in Dallas

Big Design will be in Dallas for two days full of speakers, UX workshops, and more. The conference will take place from Sept. 21-22, with multiple ticket and workshop purchasing options. Big Design is a way of thinking, and aims to help people grow by looking at the bigger picture. This event includes big-name speakers from companies like AT&T, Bottle Rocket Apps, Capital One, Google, Microsoft, Sabre, and many more. This year’s keynote speakers include Dan Szuc, Cassini Nazir, Kim Goodwin, and Jorge Arango.

TECH INDUSTRY LUNCHEON
