Dallas-Based rewardStyle Expands Its Billion-Dollar LIKEtoKNOW.it App With Video Shopping

The influencer-driven LIKEtoKNOW.it app is rewardStyle's fastest-growing product. 5,000 retailers—from Chanel to Walmart and Adidas to Ulta—were integrated in the new LTK Shopping Video feature at launch.

Fast-growing rewardStyle is upping the game for its LIKEtoKNOW.it app with the launch of LTK Shopping Videos within the app.

The company announced the new feature in late August to nearly 9,000 influencers attending the (virtual) eighth annual rewardStyle conference.

Adding a video component should continue to ramp up sales on the LIKEtoKNOW.it shopping app. In the first half of 2020, consumers purchased more than $500 million in products through the profitable app, accounting for half of all sales for rewardStyle.

Bloggers, vloggers, Instagrammers, and YouTubers can produce, monetize, and share two-minute videos featuring beauty how-tos, home tours, quick DIYs, capsule wardrobes, and more in the LIKEtoKNOW.it app.

Amber Venz Box, co-founder and president of Dallas-based rewardStyle and LIKEtoKNOW.it, says the videos are uniquely created for people who are actively shopping in the app.

“They bring confidence to the purchase through education, better understanding of product origin, quality, selection and context for use,” Venz Box said in a statement. “Our mission is to empower influencers to be as financially successful as possible. The expansion of our fastest-growing product, the LIKEtoKNOW.it app, will multiply the opportunity for influencers around the world.”

As of the launch date, some 5,000 retailers are integrated in the LTK Shopping Video feature, from Chanel to Walmart and Adidas to Ulta.

Shopping Video performance data and analytics will be available immediately via rewardStyle’s influencer marketing dashboard.

Inside the app, consumers can view videos from the influencers they follow, find videos by searching or exploring categories, and, of course, purchase products they like.

According to rewardstyle.com, the LTK Shopping Video feature is immediately available inside the app in more than 100 countries.

The LIKEtoKNOW.it app launched in 2017, six years after Amber Venz Box and husband Baxter Box, company CEO, founded rewardStyle. In the last four years, company sales have grown by more than 300 percent.

Venz Box was among a lineup of celebrities joining Fashinnovation’s virtual Worldwide Talks 2020 NYFW on Sept. 10, which also includes Katia Beauchamp, founder of Birchbox, and fashion designer Mara Hoffman.
