Frisco-based Antuit.ai has launched a new solution that aims to put the power of artificial intelligence directly in a team’s hands—with the goal of making more accurate demand forecasts.

Called the AI Demand Modeling Studio, the launch is geared toward consumer products and retail companies looking to innovate.

Antuit.ai is a a provider of SaaS artificial intelligence solutions for forecasting and merchandising to help businesses achieve outsized results in supply chain, merchandising, pricing, and marketing. The Goldman Sachs company uses AI and machine learning software to assist companies in digitally transforming their businesses.

That’s exactly what the AI Demand Modeling Studio will do, too: The solution offers companies production-ready AI models, pipelines, and workflows for demand forecasting, shaping, and fulfillment. It’s an industry-first, use case-centric studio, according to Co-CEO Sivakumar Lakshmanan.

The studio is designed for customers who are already investing in their own data science teams to continuously ideate.

Lakshmanan and his team at Antuit.ai hope the AI Demand Modeling Studio will allow companies to better understand consumer demand. The solution makes it easier for companies to adopt AI-driven forecasting and other demand modeling practices, but without the “heavy lifting required from generic AI platforms.”

The AI Demand Modeling Studio is meant to overcome the restrictions that come with having to pre-build customized solutions. It’s completely customizable by design, so companies can augment, extend, tune, and drive their own configured models—or bring their own—in a single low-code modeling studio.

“Innovation is a core value of Antuit.ai and a key reason why our customers do business with us,” Lakshmanan said in a news release. “Now customers don’t need to make a choice between the stability and reliability of a SaaS solution versus the flexibility and experimentation capability of an in-house built solution. They can have both.”

Antuit.ai was founded in 2013 with an original focus on advanced analytical forecasting and supply chain solutions, but in 2015, its offerings expanded with the acquisition of AI company Prognos. That allowed Antuit.ai to move into the pricing and marketing areas—and start focusing almost entirely on consumer products and retail.

Last year, Antuit.ai acquired Forecast Horizon, which assists retailers in automating the planning process, to have a more complete portfolio of retail solutions. Now Antuit.ai is able to provide assortment, allocation, and fulfillment solutions to companies, including some global Fortune 1000s.

Today, some big names are deploying the Software-as-a-Service technology—including Pepsico, Neiman Marcus, JCPenney, and Philips.
